BBD - Stock price is $20.65, Special dividend price is 10%, Ex-dividend date is 01/20/2010. This stock has been stable between 20 and 22.

FAV - Stock price is 13.39, Quarterly dividend price is 0.46, Ex-dividend date is 01/21/2010. This seems to go up towards the Ex-dividend date, which means we might be a bit late to enter this one. Looks like a good one to buy on the way down after the ex-dividend date and catch the way up in March.

Interesting high yielding dividend stocks for the week of 01/10/2010

MGIC - Stock Price is 2.04, Special dividend price is 0.5, Ex-dividend date is 01/12/2010. This stock has been trading in the range 1.7-2.0 for the last 6 months. This seems to be a good price to enter but this is special dividend so we will have to wait for sometime before we see any upward swing and get out of this position.

AIG-A - Stock price is 11.6, Quarterly dividend price is 1.59, Ex-dividend date is 01/13/2010. This stock has been trading in the range of 10-13. The good thing about this is that it provides quarterly dividend so we can see some upward swing.

CFP - Stock price is 9.15, monthly dividend price is 0.2, Ex-dividend date is 01/13/2010. This stock has been pretty stable at 9.0. Since this provides monthly dividend it can act as monthly income source and can provide enough opportunities to get out of position.
